I made this a couple of years ago as sort of a spoof, right after I did a number of very lame storyboards for some hair care products.
Regular hair care commercials are pretty unimaginative, if you ask me. Like the ones for washing detergents and such. When you put in a little fantasy however, it might get interesting to watch. But it seems as if the average producer of such products rather annoy the hell out of their clients by making the commercial message as boring as possible.
I'm not saying this spoof is a brilliant idea, mind you. But if you see this girl, all sweaty and with greasy dirty hair, rowing away through the mangroves of a rain forest, I bet a lot of people might just hang in there to see what she'll do next. Or would they?

It seems that "Old Spice" took your idea and ran with it. (except be a male product but moving him to many exotic locations for viewers with ADD)
