Regal Descent

Actually, I came across a photo (partial, not nude and different in colour and mood) that I liked a lot for the expression and it got me to make this. I asked the model if she'd mind as it looked like her and she thought it was 'cool'. I didn't get any enthusiasm and to make sure I wouldn't embarrass her I changed her face completely. Still works well.

When I do stuff like this, and it does happen sometimes, I consider it the biggest compliment and tribute to beauty I can give as an artist, but I understand that some don't see it my way and I'm always prepared to steer away from the initial inspiration.
