Model session

Funny how some pieces get made. This one was actually inspired by a visitor to my regular site. She painted herself while modelling for an artist and sent me that painting. For fun, I believe.
In turn I made my own version, which looks totally different. Although I tried to keep the slightly startled expression in, the mood and lighting, perspective, and anatomy are more me. However, if she hadn't send the picture I would not have done this one. Even though this is, when you would replace the canvas by a Mac, basically what I like doing the most, because I think it still is the best foundation for a people painter.
