I once did a 'Blackberry King' for a writer. I believe it was on Myspace (remember that? 
).
Never seen the book finished or heard anything from him but this painting is something I wanted to do ever since.
The original Blackberry King was very different, standing in a forest in a different mood and much further away and I wanted to do a portrait that an ancient King would have made for the lobby.
